InactiveNormal ITV just doesn’t work anymore, but ITV HD on 103 does?

InactiveFilm4, ITVBe and ITV1+1 also seem to be blank. Why? I don’t know, this keeps happening. Chances are the D3&4 Multiplex is being messed with and has exposed another Aura fault that was supposed to have been fixed.

Oh not again, we have also lost legend extra completely.
That could be caused by a different reason.
Legend extra moved to the same multiplex as ITV HD on 26th March 2025. Have you watched legend extra since 26th March 2025? That’s about 3 or 4 weeks after you first setup your Aura.

I have done a factory reset and therefore a fresh channel scan but both ITV and ITV+1 are still blank with just a but of audio stuttering in now and again.
ITV HD does appear OK at moment.

Report the problem to Humax support. Which transmitter do you receive from?

I have done a factory reset and therefore a fresh channel scan but both ITV and ITV+1 are still blank with just a but of audio stuttering in now and again.
ITV HD does appear OK at moment.
I noticed today that we lose ITV at 17.00 so we just turn it over to 103 but you cannot rely on channel 03 to record on, it all works on the stand alone tv and the manhatton.

Its Rowridge transmitter but we also have a local “poulner” relay transmitter.
I will report it, thank you.
Before I do that I need to wait until it happens again and check the Freeview on the TV to be sure it’s only the Aura box.

Yes, it is time related for sure, (don’t judge, not my recording!) but Emmerdale is most affected, the recordings always end up blank with a bit of sound every now and again but if you fast forward you see the picture.
We moved the recording to ITV+1 but then a few days ago that got the same issue, now we are trying HD.
It’s not all the time we get this it’s just early evening, not just recordings but live too.
The strange thing is Coronation Street (Oh dear, still not me!) is only an hour later and always records fine.

Yes, my wife records Emmerdale and Coronation Street. I have now moved the recordings to the HD channel. I hope Humax sorts it out soon.

InactiveBought this from John Lewis 3 months ago. Been having problems of Ch3 (ITV) dropping out and only having flashes of picture with clips of sound. UHD 103 is ok but of course, does not carry local news.
Spoke to John Lewis who passed me over to Humax Tech Team.
Seems this is a known fault, ‘is being worked on’ but have no idea when (or if) it will be rectified. They are aware of others having the same problem.
Transferred me back to JL who are more than happy to either, refund full cost, supply a new Aura or a different box (no doubt costing more).
Agreed to hold off for a period (up to the 2 year JL guarantee when the offer will still be available.
Decided to wait a bit however, the problem which had happened only 3 times in 4 moths has recurred twice in the last couple of days.

Inactivelol tell my wife that, I have told her the HD channels are better.
Now having more channels playing up, film4, itv2 and a few more I can’t remember.

InactiveI think there may have been an update today?
I tried to change channel earlier and a FreeView dialogue box came up asking the country, I Ok’s England and all was normal after that, no further questions about region.
I can only think the FreeView app was updated in the background, if it was lets hope this cures the ITV issue.

InactiveThis is fix for ITV not working, well it worked for me
The first part is to follow a post by VitaminD
Post is in Aura Changes Recording Channel
Having followed the instructions you will have done two manual channel searches for BBC A and BBC B
Now you need a third manual channel search, enter your transmitter
as under D3&4 – Transmission DVB-T – Channel is whatever your local one is. Mine is 44 on the Emley Moor transmitter
