Does anybody know how my GFs humax aura is making double recordings please.
Ive told her to checl the settings, but its hers not mine so i don’t know the machine if i have a look.
Mine has just started doing this ….not sure why!!
Maybe have to do a retune
My Aura used to suffer from this then the problem disappeared.
In the last week double recordings have reappeared. Usually they are identical and deleting one also deletes the other. Sometimes the duplicate is on a +1 channel and needs to be deleted separately. I’m not aware of any recent software updates so I think it must be a problem with the EPG data.
I noticed that I have two recordings for tonight’s Race Across The World both starting at 9pm on BBC1 HD. I deleted them and did a fresh series link recording. They both appeared straight away in the upcoming scheduled recordings.

I now see that the 1st entry is for tonight’s episode and the 2nd entry is for the remaining episodes in the series link. Maybe all ok but I’ll know tonight.
Ive rebooted the aura at the mains, its made 1 or 2 duplicate recordings , but we are hopeful it will resolve itself as it seems to have done with others
Had double recording on some programs, particularly ITV hd, did a “restart apps” and a “reboot” and it seems to have resolved
I got a double recording on Friday evening – Ch 5, Joanna Lumley’s Danube. Watched one of them before deleting both. This behaviour is extremely rare for me.

I tried to record that on an HDR-FOX T2 and instead got a “zero length recording”.
At least between the two of us we got the correct number of recordings.
We’ve just noticed the same, all double recordings on ITV HD.
I had a double recording scheduled from ITV3. I found it when I tried to schedule another recording. Eventually cancelled both ITV3 timers. Then the box managed to record something on U&DaveJaVu that I hadn’t scheduled. It was a runaway recording and required a reboot to stop it. Oh what fun!
