I think you need to turn off Audio Description, press the AD button on the remote.

The HDR-1800T usually comes with the RM-HS06 remote.
The RM-H06S has a button labelled “AUDIO”. It is located in the centre of the second row down from the top.
Tap the “AUDIO” button and then tap it again so that the pop-up states “English” and not “English(eng) [AD]”.
Thanks for the replies I did what was suggested and pressed the audio button and that sorted the problem out.At sometime I must have pressed the audio button by accident so thanks again
