it says this in settings, but there’s no recycle bin/folder.

Maybe the bin (and a restore method) appear if you switch on auto delete. Or it may appear when the first item is auto deleted. I’m not trying it to find out! I prefer to make my own delete decisions (and mistakes)!
I agree with EEPhil,
I turn auto delete OFF with all my pvrs! Like to make my own decisions! Also turn confirm delete on, if PVR has this to act as extra warning. John L
