Hi folks, I have a Humax aura, and ever since I got it out the box it won’t connect to the internet via ethernet. I have tried different cables and last year changed provider so new modem rules that out too.
It only connects via wireless.
I did contact Humax but never got anywhere.
Does anyone else have this issue
Firstly is your Ethernet hard wired ie No mains extenders.
I had something similar when when I changed Hubs. I tried connecting the ethernet cable but no joy. It only works if you turn the “Wi-Fi” off on the Aura, I also turned off
“Scanning always available”, In “IP settings” use “DHCP” These are all in
Network & Internet settings. Hope this helps
Ok thanks I’ll give it a whirl. The hub is next to the unit the aura is sat on so just a short ethernet lead direct. I’d rather have it wired as.it seems to buffer even though it right next to it lol
