After switching off humax and tv for access then turning back on, the humax box is frozen on the ‘what’s on next page’ the sound is ok and we can change channels but have no picture, if we press the free view button the page changes but it is still overlaid with the ‘what’s on next page ‘.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

When you say switched off do you mean using the remote (or button on the 5000T) or have you disconnected it from the mains completely? The usual cure for problems of this nature is to switch off at the remote, wait a while for the disk access to stop, pull the plug at the mains socket, wait a short time and reinsert the plug. When, eventually, the Humax restarts the problem might have cleared (fingers crossed!)
