We had this box and decided to keep it despite the annoying ‘no programme information’ in the guide on many occasions, because there doesn’t seem to be anything else out there.

However this problem is super annoying and I don’t know what can be done about it.

you watch a live program and pause it for 5 minutes to make a drink or answer the door.. come back press play and a few minutes before the end of the program what you are now watching, goes off and takes you to a pre-scheduled recording that is starting.. changing channels invariably.

if by some chance you did schedule the program you were watching live you can go back into it and run through what you watched but if not you miss the end completely.

Non of the recording boxes we have had in the past (TalkTalk freeview box for example) have done this.. you can just carry on with what you were watching and let the scheduled program record in the background.

is there some setting I have missed or is this common to all of you too?
