Have recently upgraded to Aura to allow access to ITVx and wanted to save a few of the recordings on old FVP5000-T Had tried to use USB when still connected to aerial/internet but said could not read despite correct formatting as indicated.
So used USB A to USB A to connect to PC but did not appear in File explorer and only option seems to be “Map Network Drive” not find another device. Humax was not connected to Aerial/Internet when attempting this.
Sure I am missing something simple but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Does the USB connected drive have am MBR style partition table? If it is GPT then the FVP-5000T won’t see it.
So used USB A to USB A to connect to PC but did not appear in File explorer and only option seems to be “Map Network Drive” not find another device.
I wouldn’t expect USB A to USB A to work.
