Remote control does not turn my FVP 5000T box on.

    Hello,

    I have a FVP5000T box and last week the remote control broke, so I order a replacement, that came today, the issue is that the remote control does not turn the FVP 5000T box on, I have a Youview box and the remote control that I got for the FVP 5000T box will turn the youview box on, I have turned the youview box off at the mains, switch the FVP 5000T box on using the switch on the top of the box, Press 0 and ok for 10 seconds the power light on the remote control flashes red but the numbers to change don’t appear on the screen.

    Any help would be appreciated

    The majority of remote clones for UK Humax HD freevew and freesat boxes can only operate in the default Humkax freeviw/freesat mode, (mode 1).

    You changed the mode of the FVP-5000T and its remote at least twice.
