    I *think* my box said it received an update. I didn’t get chance to click to read the release notes and note have no idea what it was, why, issues fixed, new features.

    Anyone else get it? Did I misread something and it might have been the TV update and I misread the message?

    No reference to it on this forum so now not sure it was yummy at all.

    Highly unlikely, mine hasn’t received an update since Aug ’21.

    Click on the Freeview button on your remote (F) go to Settings.

    Go to Freeview Play Preference scroll down to almost the end of the list and click on

    System Information.

    There you will see info on your Aura look at Firmware Version probably 00.09.21.

    Go to Update Date, confirm if it is still Aug 05 2021 or similar.

    If you want to check if your TV has had a recent update then go through your TV settings menu

    Thanks . It is sat at 00.09.21

    The only device I have plugged into my TV is the Aura so it must’ve been a TV update.

    I’m not gonna lie it’s been frustrating owning the Aura. Randomly not switching on, switching off and recording failures due to “lost power”.

    Whilst the problems are infrequent it’s really out me off relying on this type of box and miss the stability of the virgin media TiVo {although anxiously not the subscription cost}.
