I need to use subtitles frequently, on BBC they are fine but on commercial programmes they keep going out of sync with the picture. Usually the subtitle is ahead of the picture. Does anyone had the same problem and is there a solution?

I would say everyone who tries to use subtitles on an HDR-1800T/2000T has the same problem which also affects the HDR-FOX T2. There are workarounds such as rewinding a few seconds which can get things back in synch for a while but the only real fix is to buy a more modern box; from my experience the FVP-4000T/5000T and the Aura have perfect subtitle handling and I have been told the same thing applies to the Humax Youview boxes.
