    Hi

    I have just bought a genuine remote control replacement for my humax 1100s everything works fine. But it will not turn the TV on or off, i have gone through the procedure of trying to change it using the 1 to 6 method but non of them work…do you have any solutions please.

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    The 1 – 6 ‘method’ is for controlling the HDR 1100S should you have a remote conflict with another Humax device.

    You need to programme the remote for your specific tv, see this FAQ (post #2):
