    Hello, I am a brand-new user of the FVP-5000T.

Can I Add the Amazon Freevee app to FVP-5000T

    Or any new apps?

I did try a search, but nothing answered my question as far as I could see.

    Thanks for reading.

Amazon Freevee is within Amazon Prime, not a separate app. Which I don’t think is available on the FVP-5000?

    Hi Baziow,

The FVP-5000T only has the apps provided with box, so no you can’t, unless they release more apps for the box.

With ref to the newer Humax Aura box, you maybe able to add the app via Humax Auru apps or sideload the app.

Why don’t get purchase an Amazon Firestick 4K? Hopefully when they have their black friday deals they will be half price again. I got mine in July for £23 & it’s incrediable device. No more moaning about app problems! Amazon promise to support updates for several years. It has Freevee app + millions of orger apps. I guess you have seen the news today about Neighbours being shown soon on Freevee? John L

As Egrosvenor said “Amazon Freevee is within Amazon Prime” and Amazon Prime is installed as standard on the Aura; no need to add anything.

    Hi Martin,

It’s a separate app on the Amazon Fire stick alongside Amazon prime. Only trying to help (!) I didn’t notice Egrosvenor’s comment when I replied. I was busy at the time with other things I was doing. Thank you anyway. John L

OK many thanks for your very helpful information.

I do have a Amazon firestick, not been used for some time, I will try it out.

    No problem baziow,

Technology is changing all the time, but at least Amazon seem to be supporting apps very well. John L
