My old RM-L08 remote started playing up so I bought a new one and it will not even turn on my Human 4000T – its exactly the same remote as my previous model but it just wont do it using the top right button – on my original remote if I press and hold the top right standby button it flashes once and turns the humax on but on this one it just keeps flashing and does nothing….any ideas ?
It was a cheap 10 quid one off Amazon but had a ton of good reviews but I could easily return it and get a Humax one for 25 from Remote Controls Shop….but just feel I am missing something easy….
Using the old remote check it is set to mode 1.

Tried that and nothing, the power button didnt stay red ! – I just dont understand why out of the box this remote does not turn on my Human box…..- I think ive spent enough time on this – I will just return and get a ” proper” one from Remote Controls shop I think.
