I just purchased a Freeview Humax FVP-5000T. Previously I used a Humax Freesat box and was able to control the unit remotely including recording programs from wherever I happened to be.

I’m having trouble getting an app to do this on my new box. I downloaded the ‘Live tv’ app but that won’t connect to the box as it says the they’re on different networks though that’s not the case.

I then downloaded the ‘Humax tv guide’ app which seems to have linked to my box. Trouble is it’s not showing anything in the guide or schedule.

Can anyone help please?
