InactiveHi,
Anyone else experiencing this? Trying to start iplayer app (only app on box) and box immediately reboots.
This has been happening since early April (at a similar time to it seemingly occurring on other models according to another thread on these forums, but they just show an error message, not cause a reboot – search for ‘iplayer’ on these forums and you’ll find the thread)
The other models seemingly have had a software update today to fix the issue, but my 1800T hasn’t.

InactiveUpdate on this: Humax say (abbreviated reply)
“Widespread and known issue, fix being looked at / worked on.”
Will update if further info supplied by Humax.

InactiveI am getting the same problem. Let’s hope Humax fix it soon.

InactiveI also have this problem, on my HDR2000t. It started 2 weeks ago and I could find no reference to anyone else with the same problem, so I hoped that it was related to the Freesat issue and would be fixed when that was fixed. No such luck.
If, as Humax say, it is a widespread and known issue, I wonder why there are no other references online. I think I shall also write to Humax, in the hope that more people asking about it will spur them into action.

InactiveI have the same issue with an HDR 2000T, if I try to open iPlayer it reboots. Other Apps work fine. I have chased Humax but they can offer no time frame, they say:
“We are aware of the BBC iPlayer issue(error 02001) as it is widespread and ongoing. We are currently working with the BBC to fix it on our end as quickly as possible, there is nothing you will need to do. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences caused. Unfortunately we don’t have a timeframe at the moment but your patience is greatly appreciate”

InactiveI received the same response from Humax. However, I am confused. The “error 02001” is the same error code that caused problems for Freesat users and which was fixed last week. So, does that mean that they have only partially fixed the problem, despite saying that it was fixed? Just have to wait and see.

InactiveI have this problem too . I can’t connect via the red button or the portal button . Are Humax looking into this, it’s well annoying , I use iplayer lots. My humax 1800T is connected to router with Ethernet. No problems on any of my other devices so I’m certain it’s the box. Any solutions in the pipeline?
