Has anyone else noticed videos taking a long time to load on YouTube now?
It started a couple of days ago. Loading of the app is fine and navigating around, but as soon as I want to play one I get the black screen with the spinning circle for about 10-15 seconds before the video plays.
I thought maybe there had been an update to the YouTube app, but I don’t get the same on my Firestick, not sure if its the same version though.
Initially I thought it may have been a one off, but its was like it the next day.
It has been doing similar (sporadically) on my TV for the last few days, so must be a YouTube issue not a Humax one.
Side note. If you’re not a fan of YouTube ads install SmartTubeNext. It’s a download APK and install from USB job, SmartTubeNext isn’t on the Play Store
Glad it’s not just me. I just tried now and it was much quicker

Been happening to me, too. Started this morning. Same thing happening to On Demand services as well.
Seems OK for me today…. fingers crossed!
