I pressed the Red Coloured Button on the Humax Remote and half the TV screen is now showing a shortlist of various TV channels at the of bottom of which it says “Welcome to Red Box Text”. How do I get rid of that? I’ve tried everything I can think of…………..nothing works. Help please.

Please could you tell us which model name or number you have?
Press the X or the back button.
Or the obvious one, turn it off.
I’m afraid I don’t know the model number – I bought the Humax in 2010 and a Freesat TV – which I since replaced with another. The Freesat Humax Remote was bought about 2018 I think.
I’m going to try turning everything off at the mains for the night very soon – see what happens.
