I have had to reset my remote control as it had issues the reset when fine, but now when I press any button on the remote control nothing happens the box does not even turn on.
I have a youview box and when I press any button on the Humax remote control for the FVP 5000T box the remote control turns the youview box on.
Any help would be appreciated

How did you fix this, please?
My Remote Controller has stopped working on my Humax HDR 1100S Freesat box and has also decided to control my Youview box instead.
I have carried out “Remote Control – Reset” instructions…
“Press the Power and RED buttons at the same time for 5 seconds until the red LED blinks three times.”
…but the red LED does not blink.
Batteries are okay as the Youview box is responding.
The buttons on the box work, i.e. on/off, change channel, change volume, and I have disconnected the power to give a complete reboot.
I also have a spare Remote which likewise is now controlling the Youview box.
Am I missing something?

InactiveBy default the remote controls for Humax Freesat and Freeview boxes do also control Youview boxes.
The remotes for the Humax Freesat and Freeview boxes can be changed to a different code set so that they do not also control the youview box, but the associated recorders do also have to have their code set changed.
It sounds as though the code sets being used on your 1100S and its remote have got out of sync with each other.

InactiveThanks Luke, that has resolved the issue.
I now remember doing that before on an older Humax box quite a few years ago.
