My 5000t ran Ok for some months but now I can’t see the Guide display – very, very faint so can’t set or even get back to Factory reset!
Any suggestions ?
Sometimes pulling the mains plug for a few minutes can restore things ,when things lock up or go wrong.

Have you tried connecting the HDMI cable to a different port on the TV? Also check that the HDMI cable is properly seated at both ends.
