It’s really irritating when you want to watch something on BBC iPlayer and they put an advert on first. You can skip this and with all my previous Humax’s you just pressed the skip button and it skipped the advert. When I tried this on my Aura remote nothing happens. I’ve pretty much tried every button on the remote but nothing seems to skip when watching iPlayer. It skips perfectly when I’m skipping adverts on my recordings.
Does anyone know what button to press to skip adverts on BBC iPlayer?
You don’t get adverts on the BBC.
These aren’t adverts but programme trailers. As they are part of the stream I believe you can only skip them using the onscreen SKIP button provided by the iPlayer App. BUT this doesn’t appear straightaway and in some cases the BBC make them unskippable ( seems to be when they are short )
Correct.
And to skip trailers, just press the OK button on the remote when the “skip” icon is onscreen (bottom right, if I recall).
