Long time since last posted…..any way have moved house but in temporary accommodation for a month or so ..no satellite dish yet.
My 1100s disk is 98 % full with lots of stuff to watch on the drive, I understood that I can connect Humax to TV via HDMI & access the stored TV programmes?
TV allows me to choose HDMI 1 but message says ” No signal”
Is it indeed possible to achieve viewing of stored programmes with only HDMI cable??

I will give odds of 1000/1 that you aren’t plugged into hdmi 1.
The first thing to determine is the origin of the message. Place the Humax in Standby and wait for 10 mins leaving the TV set to HDMI-1. Now turn on the Humax and watch the TV screen – If you see the Freesat or Humax banner it is the Humax telling you it can’t find a Satellite signal.
Try selecting recordings on the Humax remote.
I am unsure if you have posted in the correct forum – is the disk an external or internal unit? The HB types have no internal disk.
How many HDMI sockets does the TV have?
