I AM IN THE UK..SCOTLAND..I have a HUMAX TV & A HUMAX FREESAT BOX. THE TV HAS NOW A PROBLEM WITH THE ON/OFF SWITCH. It will no longer turn blue to go on standby! Anyone have one or know where I can buy / get one NEW or second hand that works. TV is older but Picture quality SUPERB! Your help greatly appreciated
I have a Humax 19″ TV that had a similar problem but it was nothing to do with the ON/OFF switch, the switch controls software to turn the TV ON and back to STANDBY. The problem was a capacitor in the power supply that had blown its top and squirted its juice onto the inside of the back panel so was easily identifiable.
