Hi,
Tried to upgrade my HDR-1100S hard drive to a 3TB unit (WD30PURZ), did the format as prompted by the Humax box and the unit says I have 683GB available but just over 2TB reserved. It see’s it’s a 3TB drive, so not sure why it’s formatting the drive like this. Any ideas ?
I thought the maximum size it world format is 2TB. You may be able to format it manually but you would need to create multiple partitions in the same way as it did. I would suggested that you analyse the original disk copying the sequence and sizes except with the largest which you can expand.
