    Hello,

    I have the following problem with the TV guide on my Humax box, find that when I go to the next day on the guide not all the channels show the progmme information and if I to say 3 day on in the guide all the channels show no progmme information.

    Is there a way to fix this issue?

    This problem seems to have been around for quite a while on many different Humax boxes. The usual solution that I’m aware of is to switch to BBC1 (probably SD rather than HD, but I’m not positive about that) and leave for a few minutes. I use the power on timer to start the 5000T up on BBC1 early in the morning and leave it switched on (for other reasons). I rarely have problems with missing EPG items.

    The HD mux seems to be the fastest way to repopulate the epg. For some reason the overnight housekeeping deletes the stored copy in non volatile ram. A timed boot from to a say BBC1-HD before you normally want to use the box for 15 mins rebuilds the epg.
