InactiveI recorded a BBC4 HD programme in non-freesat mode. I can play it on the Foxsat HDR but the file is not in Raydon’s explorer interface. The file is not encrypted. I was hoping to copy it to my laptop.

Have got a ftp package installed ? If so you should be able to copy to a PC using Filezilla

InactiveI downloaded and installed Filezilla, but when I tried to connect to ftp://192.168.1.103 which is the address that Raydon’s explorer uses with http://, it says connection was refused. Filezilla added a port 21 I think – could this be relevant? Should I try Filezilla on Linux instead of Windows?

What login credentials did you use?

FTP should be cross platform so I doubt that it would help.

ParticipantIf you install Samba you can access using Windows File Explorer. If I remember rightly the filename is odd when recorded from non freesat rename it to a sensible name

InactiveI am on Windows 8.1 and see no Site Manager. Windows Explorer shows only the Humax folders and files (see attached pic). My non-freesat video is not in the Videos folder. What is needed in my Firewall settings? Is the IP address in your screenshot the computer's or the Humax's? In Filezilla, is 'Host' IP address the Humax or my laptop.

InactiveThe host address is the Humax – you need to install Samba via the web interface and reboot. Graham has also remined me that non freesat names are odd. Think they may start with a dot which would hide them. You could also locate and rename the file via telnet.

Why? Won’t Filezilla do the job?

Filezilla show file names with a leading dot for me.

InactiveIt seems no longer available. I tried installing the fixfilenames plugin and got Fail1. I then tried downloading the package list and got Fail2. I then went online to hummy.tv and found packages relate only to the Fox HDR, not Foxsat HDR.

InactiveSorry, hpkg.tv redirects to hummypkg.org.uk which is where I went.
