I have just started getting this problem in that there is no sound when I watch the TV and no sound when I try to watch a recording.My model number is HDR-1800T and the volume on the device and on the TV are on full.This has only just started any help appreciated.Thank’s
Have you changed your TV in any way, or connected another added another HDMI device to your TV recently?
If so then there is a software update that may resolve the issue.
