How can I see and use the external hard drive I have attached and formatted. I can’t seem to see any link to it anywhere.
What do you want to do with it ?
Can I view anything that is on it. How can I do this. How do I use it with my Aura. How do I put things on it.

Right you can copy content to it from a PC as you do to any attached usb device. These can be video files or jpeg images you have downloaded or recorded yourself. You need to install the vlc app on the Aura.
Connect the hard drive to one of the rear usb ports. Open the VLC app. It should find playable content and add it to your library. simply click on it to playback content.
There are lots of apps you can download to a PC that let you download YouTube content for instance.
