On my Android media player box, my Android phone and both tablets, I am able to download content in BBC iPlayer and All4 (I haven’t checked ITV or C5 catchup yet).
Is this possible on the Aura?
No, not possible.
But why would you want the ability to download on Aura?
I can see the advantage of having this on tablet or mobile, as you can download when on home WIFI, and then view the program when away from home. But what advantage of having this on Aura when you have a permanent connection to internet?
I was merely wondering if it was possible considering the fact that it’s possible on other Android devices.

No, not possible.
Has anyone actually poked around in the file system to see if a file is created when using iPlayer? It is certainly true that a file is created when using iPlayer on the HDR-FOX T2 and the file contains the entire content watched.
Presumably it would be the same as issue any other Android device?
