InactiveSHOULD I BUY AN AURA NOW OR WAIT?
Having read mixed reviews on the web and terrible ones on Amazon, can I rely on updates to fix these problems?

I would suggest you listen to any advice that brian offers as he is a very experienced PVR user who owns an Aura. Perhaps ask questions about the issues that concern you from the Amazon reviews.

InactiveI bought the Aura a few weeks ago.
Initially I was disappointing with its performance.
Pixallating video, iPlayer really buggy.
There was a recent firmware update, which seems to have sorted the pixallating video and the app has now been released.
So is a better bet now.

InactiveThank you David this is the sort of response I was hoping for, lots of reviews complained about this.

InactiveI’ve had mine a couple of weeks now. I wait until the software update. I’m very pleased with it. Freeview and Android TV are excellent and I’ve connected it to our home network and installed E-plore file manager and I can now look at our photo collection stored on the PC on the bigger TV screen.

InactiveI got mine on Saturday and it downloaded 2 firmware updates straight away. I’ve no issues so far seems a very good bit of kit. I’ve been a freesat user up until now but I’m glad I chose this over the latest freesat box. I’ve got an android tv so I’m used to the interface which is very good and easy to navigate around. Hopefully the missing apps like Netflix,Apple tv, nowtv and britbox will be along soon. All in all very impressed.
