Had the Aura 2 days now. Waited for the software upgrade. Delighted with it so far. I’m used to the HDR-FOX T2. This has two features that I can’t find on the Aura:

With the FOX T2 I can create folders for recordings, I have one I use for all film. Can this be done on the Aura?

Also the old box has a slow motion feature. I can’t find this on the Aura. Does it exist?

    Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, that’s a pity.

A lot of useful features have been progressively dropped. A few examples.

    Front displays.

    User book marks.

Direct jump to a input time code.

If you go back to the Topfield pvrs many more.

Are the recordings on the box exposed in such a way that a smart Android developer could add some of those things as “add ons” to Freeview Play? Foldering films sounds an excellent idea (or tagging, or some other way of sorting them) in particular.

The films are placed on the hard drive by the box. That’s as much as I can say. Any way of sorting films has to be an advantage.
