So you have the wrong remote control? You should have a RM-109U.

InactiveDid you find a solution for this problem? I have the same problem. HDR-2000T and Youview branded remote. There is no OPT+ button and I’ve tried many combinations of buttons, etc but with no success. Before I buy another remote does anyone know how to delete folders without the OPT+? Many thanks.

InactiveIf the folders are at the top level:
1/ Create a recording that you don’t mind deleting so that you can see it on the same page as some of the folders you want to delete. I.e. the top level You can do this by making a short instant recording;
2/ Using the red button select the folders you want to delete that are on the same page as the recording which you don’t mind being deleted;
3/ Check that you haven’t selected anything that you don’t want to delete;
3/ Move the focus to the recording;
4/ Press OK;
5/ On the resulting pop-up select “Delete” and press OK.
If the folder is not at the top level, this will because you previously moved it using the original remote. To use the same technique to delete you will have to connect to the HDR-20000T via a PC using FTP, and via FTP move a recording on to the same level as the folder(s) you want to delete.

InactiveApologies. I missed out a step:
If the folders are at the top level:
1/ Create a recording that you don’t mind deleting so that you can see it on the same page as some of the folders you want to delete. I.e. the top level You can do this by making a short instant recording;
2/ Using the red button select the folders you want to delete that are on the same page as the recording which you don’t mind being deleted;
2b/ Using the red button also select the disposable recording (while keeping the unwanted folders still selected);
3/ Check that you haven’t selected anything that you don’t want to delete;
3/ Move the focus to the recording;
4/ Press OK;
5/ On the resulting pop-up select “Delete” and press OK.

InactiveThank you so much. I’ve just deleted all those old folders after making a disposable recording. Works perfectly. I’m really very grateful. All the best.
