I have just changed my 1000s box for a 1100s , we had lots of programs recorded on the 1000s so I transferred them to an external HDD . I have now plugged in this HDD into the 1100s as whilst I can play the recordings as required some o& them have Audio Description on and I cannot turn it off ?

    Please can anyone help

Which file extensions did you copy to the external HDD ? If they are SD and you only have the transport stream file. You may be able to remux the .ts container using TSmuxer GUI to remove the subtitle data from the .ts container.

Open one of the files in MediaInfo. Select view Tree – view and export the info as a text file and post the text here.

    no I cannot

It must be encrypted. So no way to delete the offending subtitle data. Had it come from a Foxsat-HDR it could have been fixed,
