I’m old, I’m not very good with these forums but some of your members may be interested in this. I have two PVRs one Freesat, one Freeview, both have worked well until I replaced my TV recently with a Sony. Initially I discovered that HD recordings made on Freesat would play OK but the sub-titles would not synchronise with the video, i.e a sub-title might come up eiher before or after the person speaking was ‘seen’ to speak. Thankfully luri S at Humax support came up with a fix. I had to switch the Dolby function in the Freesat box settings to OFF. I have since discovered the same problem existed with my Freeview HD recordings, changing the Audio settings from ‘Multi-channel’ to ‘Stereo’ has fixed it. Now sub-titles come up when the speakers are moving theor lips. I need sub-titles, I’m somewhat deaf and many TV performers mumble their lines.
