While watching TV or recorded programmes, TV screen goes black and no sound for 1-2 seconds at random intervals followed by a banner at top of screen stating ‘HDML1’ + screen sizes – this lasts for 5-10 seconds and then the normal screen returns for a short and variable amount of time. This process repeats continually at random time intervals. Can anyone help please?
The first thing I would check is that the HDMI cable is correctly seated at both ends.
