My Humax has started not recording over last couple of weeksand giving lots of broken recording images, when you go on the recording its start and finish times are the same.
Strange thing is when I look at the recording and what it’s trying to record it’s at a different time!
Ie BSB highlights tonight should have recorded at 8pm but the failed recording was midnight?? (not midnight yet!)
Ie Ransom on 5usa failed recording, its trying to record a different program now on a different day, and I cannot cancel the series recording or set a new one? What’s going on?
Do I need a factory reset?
My 5000t did the same thing for 2 different Films.
However, On checking the Guide True entertainment &True movies both showed please retune now. neither of my films were on these channels.
After doing a smart retune Both channels were moved to the 600’s
Also Aljazeera uk reappeared onto 235 after a 2 year absence.
So it just may be that in some way your transmitter may be upto the same thing.
My 5000t hasn’t missed a scheduled recording since (as usual)
All of mine started about a fortnight ago as well.
Finally I took a look at Both True channels on their new numbers.
Sure enough, on the guide it still shows Please retune now.

Thanks, I think this all started after a smart retune several weeks ago when some channels moved about, no other retune messages since. I think it got itself in a mess, I factory reset it last night and rescheduled all recordings, seems OK 1 day in and is now recording properly again.
