    Just got my 1100s and I’m trying to play media from other devices using media share. I have 2 problems.

    I can find mp3 files on a connected desktop pc and they play fine. But the same files on my plex media sever installed on my synology nas error with unsupported file format.

    I’ve tried putting files in other parts of the nas (not in the plex folders) and the humax can’t see those at all.

    Any idea what I’m doing wrong and is there a guide on how to set things up to share with the humax?

    Hello merlin.

    I have foung a similar problem with my mp3s on my Humax 1100s.

    Initially I assumed the conversion values were incorrect.

    Codec:- MPEG Audiolayer 1/2(mpga)

    Channels:- Stereo

    Sample Rate:- 44.1 kHz

    Bits per sample:- 32

    Bitrate:- 128kb/s

    I had one file that played, another that didn’t.

    I checked the File Names, “04 Dancing Queen.mp3” played fine.

    “Track 04.mp3” didn’t

    “Solid.mp3” also played fine.

    The “Permissions” are set to “Allow”

    I’m running out of permutations.

    I’m missing something fundamental perhaps?
