InactiveWe have recently purchased a new TV, but we can’t connect the Humax. Our Humax product code is RT531-B and our TV is a JVC product code LT-32C790. My question is, Is there a connection lead we can buy so that we can connect the TV to the Humax.

ModeratorWelcome to the forums.
Is that code on the remote? If so, do you have a 9000 series model Humax?

InactiveNo, that is the code on the Humax. The code on the remote is, RT-531B

ModeratorI assume that you want to connect the Humax recorder to your TV and not your remote, you probably need a scart to composite connector.

InactiveRT531B is a remote, you have quoted that number for your recorder and your remote.
If you have a Humax 9300T, you can connect it to the TV using a normal HDMI cable. Not sure about the earlier 9×00 models.
Edit: The 9200 handbook shows no HDMI connector on the rear.

But that is the number you said was on the box.
The 531B is a Remote Control for PVR9150T/PVR9200T/PVR9300T and possibly others.
So which box do you have?

ParticipantAsssuming one of the 9000 series recorders
9200T – use the yellow red and white RCA sockets to connect to composite input on TV
9150T – use a scart to composite lead , or adapter with RCA leads to connect to the composite input on TV
9300T – Use a HDMI lead to connect to a HDMI input on TV
If you don’t know which model you have, the 9200T has 2 scart connectors and RCA composite sockets, the 9150T has 2 scart connectors but no RCA sockets, and the 9300T is the only one with a HDMI port.

InactiveSorry for the confusion, the product code on the recorder is PVR – 9150T. Can I get what you are suggesting at Richer Sounds, or Curry’s?

Possibly but that is very unlikely as it is unlikely to be in demand enough to make it worth their while to stock.
A composite SCART to RCA looks like this:
That is just a link to show what it looks like. I have no idea whether that particular model, or seller, are any good compared to others.

InactiveBut at £1.85, what could possibly go wrong? provided his TV has L/R audio and composite in. There will be a red, White and Yellow RCA sockets close together. The spec says it has composite in, but says nothing about audio in, but I suspect that is just an omission from the spec I read.
