InactiveI note that even though the 1100S has had a design make-over they are still shipping it with the same old rubbish remote handset, with the central OK button that gets all gunged up and stops working. I dug out an old ‘One For All’ remote and this does work with the Humax, except it doesn’t have a List button. I was wondering if anyone had found a decent replacement remote with all the functionality of the original?
I have prised the RM-F01s apart on several occasions and given them a good clean, and this fixes the problem for a week or two, but then it’s back to the same old dead central button. I don’t think I’m a very messy person, so it can’t just be me who has this issue, and the remotes for my other bits of kit are all fine.

InactiveThe RM-F01 remote control is for the Foxsat-HDR, and not the HB/HDR-1100S.
The 1100S should have either a RM-I10UM, or a RM-108UM.

InactiveYes, you’re right, of course. The OK button on the remote that came with the 1100S stopped working after only a few weeks. I opened it up and cleaned it, but it made little difference, so I dug out the old remote for the Foxsat.

ParticipantIf you can find the EFC code for the list button you can program that code to an unused button on the OFA remote or as a ‘shifted button’. A shifted button is just a normal button but where you press the ‘key magic’ key first.
Try pressing ‘key magic’ then 00040, if that doesn’t work try just 040, those are the EFC codes for ‘list’ on the 9200t and the Foxsat depending on if your One For All uses 5 digit or 3 digit EFC codes.

InactiveThank-you. Keying in the numbers didn’t work but I managed to find the manual for the One For All with instructions on how to copy button functions across by putting the One For All and the original remote head to head, so now I have the missing List button on the Radio button. Many thanks.

InactiveTo program my One For All URC-7140 Essence 4 to work my Humax HDR-1100S (in Mode 1), I do the following:
To start, I use the following Direct Code so the One For All works with most functions:
SAT – 2443
To program the remaining functions, I then use the following Key MagicĀ® codes:
00630 – (-/–) – Exit
00296 – (back arrow) – List
00330 – (FAV) – Media/recordings
00425 – (Exit) – Back/return
00713 – (Record) – Record (makes the Record key – single click)

InactiveMay I commend a Logitech Harmony remote control to you? There are more expensive models but their 650/655 model is reasonably priced and the 350 even less expensive. Need some time and effort to get them set up with their online configuration system but well worth it once done.
