Does the HDR 1000/1010/1100S routinely handle daylight-saving clock-changes for scheduled recordings regardless of whether the box is On or on Standby at 2am on the Sunday morning?

Not sure but guessing it needs to be in sby because schedule times for recordings viewed the day before are out by one hour till the following day. If in doubt set a manual recording based on the timing pre or post the actual change.

Also not sure. I remember that the Foxsat changed to internally using GMT throughout the year. If the G3 units are the same then I suspect the boot works out the current Timezone to display the correct data.

We will see what happens. :-)

If you happen to be away tomorrow then set up a throwaway recording for early Sunday morning (after 1am GMT / 2am BST) so the box wakes up and gets the right time from the broadcast signal. Admittedly many boxes wake up for a bit of housekeeping overnight anyway these days but not all do

Mmm! My BT Youview box had locked up overnight needing a power-cycle.
