    Hi,

    I have not posted for about 5 yrs as nothing has gone wrong.Unfortunately My 1000 s Itb appears to be failing.Has become noisy and often fails to respond to Remote input.If left alone it then starts working again.I’ve tried pulling plug and re-booting but still the same.

    I’ve searched Amazon for a replacement but the ones I can find are supplied by Humax who will not deliver to SW France.

    Any suggestions welcome

    Try searching the amazon.co.uk site again for HDR-1100S, look in new and used offers, currently there is a new black unit supplied by Amazon who will deliver to France.

    there are plenty of remote controls if you want to see if a replacement solves your problems.

    Can you describe the noise that it is making please?

    It sounds as though something is spinning on a rough bearing.

    I don’t think it’s the remote as now it is halting in the middle of recording so I only get half a program.Also today has started pixilating

    Repassac Just tried all 1TB 1100S on Amazon UK and can’t find one that delivers to France

    It was a white one that I found, pick the amazon offer from the list.

    Didn’t really want a white one but ordered it as there was no alternative.
