Hi all,
I wonder if you can help me? I have an FVP5000t and can use the Live app but I cannot get it to set recordings when outside the home network. I also have to have the server ‘on’ on the pvr for the app to work in the home network.
My questions are, does the server need to be ‘on’ and should I be able to remote record via the live tv app when outside the home network. The guide also does not populate when not logged into the home network.
Any advice would be appreciated.
I don’t know about the live tv app, I use the Humax TV Guide app on iOS, and it sets remote recordings on either home wifi or 4G outside the home.
Have you registered for the humax.net account, and paired your box?
DOH……. I feel such and idiot lol… I have been using the wrong app, I downloaded the TV Guide app and it worked straight away. I did look at that app before but it didn’t mention the FVP5000t.
