Since the software update, my machine has sometimes been giving three short beeps when I change channels. I haven’t been able to figure out under what circumstances – whilst recording?
Does not seem to have any effect though. Strange…
Are you certain that the bleeps are coming from the Humax and not something like a smoke alarm with a flat battery?
Doubt it’s coming from the Humax, there is no speaker in the box. Is it inducing a beep noise into the audio output, certainly never heard anything ever from my 4 1000S boxes.

Just checked and I have received an update date on 13 Aug 2018.
I never noticed anything, so I don’t think it was a critical update.

V3.00.96 Aug 13 is the latest. That is the date of the s/w not the date it was released which was within the past month.

Thanks for that, I thought it would be the date of the release.
I’ve just found another thread where folk are discussing the upgrade, sounds like it didn’t do much.

Just found a switch in Settings / Accessibility was responsible for the beeps. Sorted…
