Hi, I noticed a usb port on the lhs (from rear) of a 9300t which I have just fitted with a new hard drive. Is it functional? The user manual states it isn’t currently supported.
No it is not functional.
The first few PVR-9300Ts out of the factory had a visible, but non-functional, USB port. The next ones had that area covered with a slim metal plate with something like “Do not remove” to cover the hole where the USB port had been, and then the rest after that had no sign that there ever had been a port in that area.
