InactiveWhen watching BBC channels repeatedly get a banner “to watch program from start press green button” despite watching from the start.

InactiveYes it’s a bit annoying isn’t it.
However The green banner is a BBC feature that is shown on Freeview Play.
Therefore there’s not a lot that can be done about it.

InactiveGood spot that. Pity it doesn’t work for that pesky “Watch in HD” banner as well.

InactiveWatch in HD then and you won’t get it.
Can you not swap LCN 1 and LCN 101 on those boxes so that the HD versions are on LCNs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5? The only down side of this is the local news at during BBC morning programme and 18:30

InactiveThe news is exactly the time that I find it so irritating. I have to keep on pausing for a second to suppress the message. It even comes up during the regional news, which isn’t even on HD!

InactiveThe “watch in HD” message lasts approximately 10 seconds and then dissappears, there is no need to “keep on pausing”.

InactiveWhen I say “keep on pausing”, I mean every single time I watch the news. If I don’t, it pops up every couple of minutes.

That would suggest that you are having signal break up/fluctuations on that particular channel. I get it myself caused by the neighbours trees being directly in my line of sight to the transmitter.
To test, I have just sat through Father Brown on BBC1 SD. The WIHD popped up for 8-10 seconds, went off, then about 20 seconds later popped up again (accompanied by a slight stutter in the picture), then went off and did not occur again.

InactiveNo, I do not have any kind of signal breakup.
I just rechecked my signal readings for the three PSB Mux and they were all steady at:
85-87% Signal
100% Quality
Seems fine to me,

Same happens to me and I don’t have any signal breakup either. Sometimes the ‘watch in HD’ seems to come on once and then goes away, then other times it keeps coming up maybe every 2-3 minutes for about 20 seconds each time.
