InactiveIs it from live TV or from a recording?
If live TV – have you been on the channel for a while? The only reason I ask if you’ve just switched to that channel if can take about 30 seconds or so to allow you to pause/rewind.
If it won’t work on live TV or a recording then I’d recommend unplugging if from the wall, let it sit for 5 minutes then plug it back in. Strange but that does seem to cure numerous issues

I completely agree, but I do find myself asking ‘in this day and age, why is turning it off and on again really the fix’ 😆

Because it’s possible for some data corruption to occur from say a mains power spike. Powering off the box allows the data to be removed and rewritten after a boot after removing the power. Similar can happen to remote controls. Often removing the batteries and pressing buttons to drain the energy will fix.

Guessing it’s a corrupted time shift buffer file. A hard disk format might fix it, but as it’s new get it replaced under warranty.

InactiveThe supplied batteries in the remote control might light up built in indicator when button pressed, but I have found by using new batteries in the remote control it works every time as required.TRY IT you will be as suprised as I was.
