We are very new to freesat. Not able to set 2 channels to record at same time. From the guide I selected a channel to record and it appears in the schedule. However, when I try to add a second channel to record it will not add it and offers an alternative later in the day. I tried diagnostics and that indicates 2 tuners at 100% so obviously the cables from the dish are both connected properly. Any advise gratefully received

Hi welcome to our forum. Guessing your box is in single cable mode.
Try the following
Menu – Setup – Highlight Freesat Tune.
Press the following in turn to open the hidden menu.
Red Green Yellow Blue Green Yellow Blue
Press right on Antenna Setting
Antenna Type should say Fixed Antenna
Connection type Two Cable(same).
If connection type is not as above.
Exit the menu and photpgraph your recording schedule.
Now carry out a reset to factory defaults (default password 0000).
Watch for 2 cables found message.
