InactiveHi All.
New Member so bear with me, we had a power cut which seems to have stopped my Hdr 1000 s from connecting to the Network, and I seem to have lost some channels.
I have tried the Factory Default reset still not working, it shows that I have the latest software installed, I will below what the Network Info box shows and this does not seem right to me, I have sent these details to Humax support but as yet have not heard back from them.
NETWORK INFO
Connection Type DHCP
IP address 192.0.2.100
Gateway address 0.0.0.0
Primary DNS 0.0.0.0
Secondary DNS 0.0.0.0
MAC address CC:4E:EC:1E:EF:C3
If anybody can help and tell me what these settings should be as they are nothing like my IP addresses on any of my computers or my Sky Hub.

InactiveThe gateway and DNS addresses are wrong. Check your router, try rebooting both router and humax in that order.

InactiveThanks for the reply Pollensa1946, have tried that but still not working.
Wondering if the box has gone wrong internally as like I have said lost some channels ie not able to start BBC channels from the beginning like we used to and have lost some HD channels.
Would yo know what the Network setting should look like.

InactiveWhat possibly happened was when the power was restored the Humax and Router were booting at the same time and the routers boot was not complete when the Humax issued it’s DHCP request.
It looks like you got the router’s saved settings, but not those it would have obtained from your ISP.

I doubt that there is a problem with the Humax. To be clear about what was suggested, try this:
Turn off the power to the router.
Put the Humax in standby and when the disk has stopped spinning turn off the power to the Humax.
Turn on the power to the router. Wait until it is fully booted and other devices on the network can connect to the Internet.
Turn on the power to the Humax.
Is it working correctly now?

We could guess but much better to get DHCP working properly so you get the correct settings.

Can other devices on your network access the Internet?

InactiveYes Martin all my other devices are working correctly, which makes me think the box is at fault, have tried to put in different gateway code but to no affect.

192.0.2.100 is an odd IP address as it is officially reserved for test and documentation purposes. Do you have a PC on the network and if so what operating system is it running? How is the Humax connected to the router (WiFi, network cable, homeplugs etc)?

InactiveConnect to your router via your browser and post it’s settings for info please.
