Just for amusement I thought it would be fun to suggest what went wrong at Freesat yesterday.
My suggestion: Cleaner removed a plug labelled server to plug in a floor polisher
Graham you could well be correct.
I can confirm many years ago that a live feed of Ice skating from the Richmond (Surrey) rink was lost due to a cleaner pulling out a 13amp mains plug, so they could plug in their vacuum cleaner. The plug in question unfortunately was powering an OB link on the roof of Teddington Studio’s. As it was after 22:00 hrs the apparatus room was un staffed, A big enquiry followed.
Strange but true.
Reminds me of the space telescope debacle. Before they launched it into orbit no one though of actually using it as a telescope.
