The remote control for my DTR2000 YouView box simply doesn’t work. Trying the standard reset via the TV and red buttons doesn’t make any difference. Changing the batteries doesn’t make any difference either. The software on the box is up to date.
Humax have already sent me a new remote once, but after a few weeks that has started playing up too. Does nobody else have this problem? What’s going on?

Are you sure remote is in PVR mode and not TV?
i.e. press PVR button before trying to interact with the DTR.
Yes. I am sure.
The real issue is that it’s an intermittent fault. Some days it works, some days not. Sometimes a reset will work, sometimes not. Sometimes removing the batteries and refitting works, sometimes not. Very frustrating!
